Jam is all the things someone would want in a fancy TB. He's well put together, has all the chrome, huge movement, brave, and a friendly bubbly personality. I've had Jam since the end of last summer, when he came off the track lightly raced. As a 3yo coming off the track he was still very young acting and thin. He had off through the winter and I restarted him in March. 

Jam has been off my farm numerous times for field trips over the Benchmark and other local places. He's very well behaved off the farm. He loads and hauls perfectly. Stands well on crossties, for grooming, bathing and all of the other things. Excellent for the farrier. My farrier absolutely adores this guy. He has exceptionally good feet. I pulled his shoes when he came off the track and he's been happily barefoot and sound since. Over the winter when the ground was frozen and sharp with ice my TBs WITH shoes would be walking around sore and Jam was barefoot and I never once saw him take a sore step. Up to date on all vaccines. No vices. Clean straight legs.

In the tack Jam is soft and light on the aides. His trot is ground covering and his canter is super uphill and balanced. He has a good work ethic and wants to do the job. I could honestly see him doing anything. He will certainly jump a big jump with his canter and I could see him eventing but he also has the movement that I could see putting him in the hunter ring.

Fabulous Dreamer

Fabulous Dreamer is an incredibly fancy 3yo 16.1 TB mare. Pedigree here

I don't even know where to start on describing this unbelievable mare. She is so so fancy. Her movement and balance is incredible and to think she's only 3!! She is soft and naturally round in the bridle. Easily picked up both leads. Just floats around the arena. 

She is an absolute class act in the tack and on the ground. She stands patiently and quietly at the block. Super sensible and willing... always trying to find the answer to the question I'm asking. We rode her out in the field as well and she was just as well behaved out of the arena. 

What I really love about her is that her brain is every bit as exceptional as her movement and conformation. She's well behaved in turn out. She loads like a saint and hauls just as well. Super chill and patient in the cross ties. Happy to stand for a bath, mane pulling or whatever else. Acts the same on field trips as she does at home. Just the sweetest more pleasant mare the be around. I'm totally dotting on her :)

She came off the track sound and without injury (minus a superficial cut on her LH pastern where she had been hitting herself running)  a few weeks ago after 7 career starts. She has clean straight legs. No vices.

Malibu in Motion

Malibu has been off the track for about a year now. He's well started on the flat and over fences, He's got lots of miles xc schooling, hunter paces, etc. This is one heck of a nice scopey horse. The way he cracks his back over a fence sometimes if pretty incredible. 

Malibu is such a cool horse because he is athletic and game but also very ammy friendly. You get to kick on down to the fence and in general he takes a bit of leg. He does perk up when jumping- he genuinely enjoys it! He's super happy to whoa the second the thought crosses your mind lol you take that leg off and he's like- yes ma'am walk break is what I had in mind! :) You can see in the video that he is happy to walk trot and canter on the buckle steady as can be. He is certainly athletic and fancy enough for a pro but he also gives that safe steady vibe that I think a lot of ammys are looking for. 

I've ridden him at my farm a few times now and took him over to Benchmark today for his ride video. He's been the same horse every ride- at home and away. If I still have him next weekend I'd like to take him out for a proper xc school. He gives a calm steady feeling that I'm sure will translate over.

Malibu retired sound from the track with no injuries. Clean straight legs. He is a light cribber easily controlled by a collar. He had a clean vetting in May 2020 when his previous owner bought him. Cross ties well for all the things. Excellent loading and hauling. Gets along well with geldings and mares.
