Skiptease

Sold

Skiptease is a 4yo 16.1 TB mare sired by Skipshot https://www.pedigreequery.com/skiptease2. She is lightly raced and has had a month of down time since her last race. She comes from an excellent barn and connections in KY. It's obvious she's been well handled because she is impeccably behaved and easy to live with.

This mare is a huge phenomenal mover! I love her shoulder and her hind end. I can't wait to see her with some more weight and muscle. Super uphill and light in the bridle. She goes round naturally and easily. Very ammy/YR friendly project for someone to bring along.

She was excellent for clipping, bathing, loads and hauls like a saint, super for the farrier and on cross ties in general. I just think she is just so easy going in general. Nothing is a big deal with her.

Located in Greensboro MD.

Priced at $5,000.

Artic North

Sold

If you're looking for a fox hunter and/or eventer I know this one is going to be incredible. Retired from a successful steeplechase career in 2019 we already he loves to run and jump  :)

Artic North is a 12yo very thick 16.3h TB gelding by North Light(IRE)   https://www.pedigreequery.com/artic+north. He is a big flashy mover and a very big boned horse.

This is one heck of a classy old school sturdy type- He is absolutely made of steel with clean straight legs, incredible uphill mover, big bone and feet to match. It's obvious why he went on to steeplechase after making over 300k flat racing. I would love to gallop this horse down to a big fence. He gives the right feel and has an eye for his distances. I always see people posting ISO ads for horses and the #1 criteria is usually soundness... there is no greater testament to soundness then a winning career flat then timber racing and retiring sound with no injuries or vices.

He has all of the invaluable life experience that come along with timber racing- including great form and bravery over fences. Jumping him today was just so so fun. He is a gentleman on the ground and in the tack. He is forward thinking in the sense that he is a workman and wants to do the job but he is not heavy in the least. He's actually very light in his mouth and comes round and across his back naturally. If he goes on to eventing he will be very competitive on the flat.

He has excellent feet, gets along well with my other geldings and is quiet in the barn. Artic stands well on crossties including for the farrier. He was perfect for his clip and bathing. He also loads and hauls very well as one would expect of a horse like this.
